Kansas Rook OP trapper K Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 949 Hutchinson KS	So my uncle had these tools shipped to him in a box that has a distant relatives name on it. We have no idea what the tools are and what they were used for. Any of you have any ideas???

wetdog trapper Joined: Oct 2017 Posts: 5,883 perry co.Pa	The name on the box. A H Baird Edinburgh. Was a photographer who invented a few things. I believe they are, lothian plummets. The only reference I could find was in the photographic news,dated may 12 1893 Sorry no pics. Hope this helps

Best guess is they gauge something or construct parallel lines. Major clue would be to know relatives work and hobbies. Upholstery perhaps?
