I have every trap that you just mentioned. If I could only choose one of those to catch multiple critters, i would go with the 450's. With that said, since you are going for a coyote/bobcat rather than coyote/fox, id go with the 550 just because of the larger jaw spread for the cats larger feet. I like the bridger dogless as well, but the MB's are my favorite. As far as getting them modified, id save the money and get an extra trap.

Both are great traps, I bought 3 of the 550's and #2 dogless to see which ones I liked best. I chose the bridger simply because I like them better, I like the way they bed, no messing with the dog, and the pan is huge! So I ordered a bunch more dogless and haven't bought another 550 since. Either trap will serve well and there is no mistaking the quality on the MB they just feel heavy duty in your hand but I am just a fan of the dogless traps. You will be happy with either of them I promise.
People ask me why I trap if it's not good money I tell them it's time well wasted.

I like the B2 dogless better, though. But it will need laminating to be easier on coon and fox. The 550 has the wide faced jaws and it's ready to go out of box.

550 offset. Works for fox, coyote, and bobcat. Lot of times a skunk or possum and coon will pull out which I don't mind a bit.
Wish I had more time to trap....

So glad u asked this question because it was also a question bouncing around in my mind. Have 6 bridger #2 4coiled with the dog and I absolutely love them. Getting a dozen of something this summer and was leaning dogless #2 4coiled. Hoping this thread sways me.
