Inspection started at noon today and will continue all day tomorrow (Tuesday)

Sale starts at 8 AM Mountain time on Wednesday the 7th. Antlers first, than bears, cougars, dressed goods, misc.

Raw fur auction starts 8 AM on Thursday. And continues until the last lot of fur is offered.

The guts running the sale are probably taking a bit of a breather after checking in fur for 2 days.

I imagine some one will hop on here later today and give us an update. I'm guessing they have fur and other items every where!!

I wish I had a bunch of fur and was there to sell. At least be there to witness it all. Good luck to all that are offering there fur. And a thanks to those who put in the thankless hours of preparation. Rock on!!!

Been running wide open for 72 hours, 4300 coyotes on the racks along with near 200 cats, 300 reds 150 greys 300 swifts. 2500ish total lots on the grounds, spent today checking in 160 bears 3000 lbs antler plus the lions, carcass and incidentals. hanger after hanger of tanned goods trinkets claws etc. Buyers are rolling in, pencils are smoking. 1 1/2 more days until the frenzy begins.

Ranch fox can get really big. Some are bigger than coyotes.

I am 5 foot 3 inches. When I hold a bundle of those big ranch fox as high over my head as I can, the tips of the tails touch the ground.

And not only are they big, they are very well furred when harvested at the peak of primeness.

Today is day 1 of the Colorado sale - they are just now starting the tanned goods.

Spent the first part of the day selling antlers, bears, cougars, skulls, misc.

Raw fur starts tomorrow morning at 8 AM. They sell alphabetically. So first up will be badger (unless they have any aardvarks or armadillos).

It could be late in the day before they get to muskrats. It will take them a while to sell 4300 coyotes.
