My good pal bailey the dog that this post was about. Passed away a week ago Yesterday. Having her put down was one of the hardest things that I’ve ever had to do. It sucked... just plain out sucked! She was suffering from an auto immune disease that was giving her cancer and thus causing kidney failure. If I can figure out how to do it I will post her memorial video to this thread that I made of her.

Coonfinder, sorry to hear that. I have been down the same road a few times. It is hard to deal with. Best advice I can give is in a week or so go get that new puppy.

Coonfinder-Sorry to hear about Bailey. You gave her a good life while she was with you. She will probably send down a good replacement when the time is right.

Thanks guys. I actually went on a solo duck hunt last Friday at a spot that iv never shot more that 2. And on that Friday I limited out in less than 2 hrs. It was good therapy for me. And was almost like she was sending me the birds. I’m looking at some lab pups on Thursday.

X2 I've had a couple Water Spaniels I had to put down due to cancer. One had lung cancer. About her, I always told people, lung cancer and I'd never seen her smoking. Unless she was sneaking smokes when I wasn't watching. It's really hard, sorry for your loss.

Most in this country have things people in other countries only dream about. Yet, they want America to be more like those other countries.
