Are Jeeps that much different than other Chrysler products?

I like the idea of a Jeep but I've had nothing but trouble with any Mopar vehicle I've owned.

I had a 98 wrangler and a 77 CJ. the CJ was more of a trail rig. loved them both and almost impossible to destroy. the CJ I rolled down a hill a couple times. popped out a few dents and a new windshield and drove it. My wrangler I had submerged in a lake. drain and refilled oil, never a problem. only reason I don't have one now is they aren't much for a family vehicle
