Fellow trappers I would like your opinions on the Jameson & Keg Creek Baits and Lures. What experience and results if any with these two brands positives or negatives. I'm going to try some new baits and lures for next season. Mostly K9's and some coon and maybe muskrats.

have used jamisons shipping is fast and lure and baits work for me keg creek I haven't used but I believe they are good too with low fur prices and the lure making competition you stay in business with repeat customers. I also think it takes a couple years to evaluate a lure different weather animal populations for example when I started using carmens lure it took weeks to catch coyotes and they worked the sets for weeks after that in winter weather next year I cut way back on the amount and was in business right away

My best coyote take at one spot with BJs meat bait. Five in thirteen checks. I had to pull for deer, then big winter came and I could not get back there that season. I think the work thing got in the way too that year.

Bob's a good guy in my opinion. Takes time to yack when I see him.
He told me to not over do the amount, use it like a lure. First lure
salesman to recommend that to me.

I have used Keg creek lures and baits for 4yrs now, shipping is fast customer service second to none,
You do your part, keg creek lure and baits will do its part. His formulas are the original ones .
Good stuff
They will dig threw alot of snow to get to the lure or bait.

I try a new to me lure maker every season, I buy a good sample of their product line both bait and lure. This year it was keg creek and KTP. I would not hesitate to go with any of their products.

I use Keg Creek Baits and lures for two seasons now, they work great. Marty the owner will also answer your questions and give you helpful advice.

Jameson's is becoming my favorites. No experience with Keg Creek...although I do have some of his bait on the shelf.

If I never bought K9 lure/bait again I'd have enough to last me till I was 300.

Hey Duke,

I’ve had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Jameson on several occasions, and found him to be extremely knowledgeable, as well as personable.

If he puts his name on the bottle, you can bet it’s a quality product.

I bought several of Mr. Jameson’s lures this year to use exclusively on the coyote line.

Prairie King has been my best producer from the Jameson line so far.

Here are a couple of mature males that went for a baited dirt hole lured with Jameson’s Prairie King.

Good to hear Bill!

I am about to put a bottle of Jameson’s Matrix Canine Marking Scent in my lure lineup this week.

I'm expecting good results.

The coyotes and fox love Keg Creek lures. I call one of his instant coyote LOL. Never tried Jamesons.

Jameson's fox cream is excellent, if I could only buy one of Bob's lures that would be it

Marty has been tearing them up this season on KC baits and lures. You don't catch 300 yotes in a season if you ain't got some good stink in the hole.

Anything Jameson's is good. His Sierra Mist will keep ya skinning cats.

I use Bob Jameson's lures and baits here in S.E. PA. with great results - I use a lot of his Red Devil, Shadow Stalker, Fox Cream and matrix baits.
