bsnow OP trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 607 missouri	im lost in these coditions and was wanting to see some pics or diagrams on how to trap in the snow and frozen ground...im a dirthole flat set type of guy and these condition are throwing me off...thanks IMPROVISE

shortliner16 trapper S Joined: Dec 2015 Posts: 430 Minnesota	If its just bobcats, what I do is get some dry grass in the summer/fall to bed in. Make sure grass on top is cut fine with a scissors so It doesn't bind up the jaws. Doesn't have to be perfect for cats compared to k9s. You can also search exposed pan sets for bobcats and that's a good route with snow on the ground.

Maybe just some ground duff on pan or pan cover to make it look inviting to step on and stepping sticks both side of jaws. One of the nice things about cats is weatherproof sets.
