I bought mine at a flea market. It's just a heavy duty turkey cooker. I guess this is what you mean. Later Longear

turkey fryer and a propane tank like used with a grill is simple and effective. What I use. The fryer basket makes it simple to remove traps from boiling water without having to fish for them.

1/2 a 55 gallon drum, some cinder blocks and firewood works fine here.

I think that Nothern sold them at one time. You might check with them to see if they still sell them. Later J.J.

Bury a metal bucket upright open end up under your boiling rig, hole in side of it with weed burner inserted, can add some cinder blocks to keep wind out if you wish, same outfit has been used for 40 years to heat branding irons, bend pipe when build cattle corrals, warm well pullers in mid wnter, heat stock dams etc.

if you can find a chemistry supply they have what your looking for.....pretty cheap also.......thats what i used b4 my turkey frier......you can super heat the water like a blow torch to give it a boost on heating then turn it back when its boiling......i still use it to help get to the boiling point....

Harbor Freight had a major recall on those things a few years ago as they had a tendency to explode. Make sure you get a new model. I use a Fish Fry/Turkey cooker, works great, cheaper, and cooks fish too!
