Does anyone have any experience with them. I have a chance to pick one up for a pretty good deal and was wondering about them. It's in a 300 Win mag if that matters. Thanks

Matt; Yes, bought one on sale 2 years ago. Mine is a 300wsm, very accurate, seems to be a solid firearm.

Have one in the weatherguard finish in .300 Win mag that I'll not part with. Factory Federal 150 gr standard ammo shoots just over an inch, and I've tailored handloads for the 110gr and 168gr Barnes TSX bullets, both under an inch at 100 yards. I've done nothing at all to "accurize" the rifle, that performance is out of the box.

All that is wonderful on its own, but for me, the best this gun offers is the sleek forend and over all weight/balance/feel. I also like the recoil pad on the rifle as it really is not at all a problem to shoot many rounds at the range to develop a good handload.

I really don't think you can go wrong if the price is right. Do yourself a favor and buy an extra detachable magazine right away for it, just in case you accidently drop one out of the gun when hunting with it. I do that with all guns that have detachable mags, just in case.

Good luck and enjoy a quality forearm!

I have the 22-250 in Max-1 Camo, with Burris 4.5-14 Predator Quest Scope. It is like an extension of my pointer finger, because everything I point this rifle at, DIES! I have 2 New in the box yet in a 7mm-08 and 204 and haven't pulled the triggers on them. Someday!
