TurkeyTime OP trapper T Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 2,122 NW MO	I just got done reading the book and do not watch TV much so am needing an update. The book is from 2004 and they are going to move to town until their 2 girls are out of school. Can someone give me an update? Still live in town? 10 months of the year in the bush? Free Range trapper F Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 12 Kansas SE	He has a book? Sweet have to get that. IMHO This is the BEST "reality" show on TV. No fake drama, just real life as they are living it. Lost! I ain't never been lost,,,,, been mighty confused for a few months, but never lost.

Bushman trapper B Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,017 Alberta	Heimo and Edna are the real deal and the Last Alaskans is the only "reality" show that has any semblance of actual reality. I spoke with Heimo in July for an hour on the phone. Totally down to earth and humble. His daughters are adults with their own kids. But apparently his daughter Krin is living out in the bush at their site this winter along with her husband and kid. Which he was over the moon about. I'm not much of a star struck fellow but I like these folks. You can buy the series on Itunes and it makes good watching on the trapline. www.sheepcreekcabin.net www.compassmedia.ca

My wife on the other hand loves watching the last Alaskans and wants to sit down and chat with Edna mostly to share skin sewing techniques and what not, of course I get the feeling if they got together and started talking grand kids it would be a very long visit We get out of life only as much as we really want and work hard enough to achieve
