Tom Stalker makes one from Stalker Fabrication
Same as what Zagman uses.
I am sure Redneck Trapper will make you one as well.
I use a 2 pounder and a 3 pounder with a straight blade. Much easier to use than a angled like most of the trap suppliers have in stock.

RN 13 I have one of those for work . They just aren't heavy enough to drive rebar stakes or earth anchors . I had a 3 pound sledge (I think) with a curved blade welded to it . Great for hammering in anchors but I didn't like the curved blade . I'm looking for the same weight for driving but a wider straight blade . I'd also like to get it from someone on this site . I buy plenty from all the big suppliers and I'd like to also support the people here if they make a good product .

We mill a flat on the back of the hammer so the blade is 90 deg. to the striking face.

I welded a piece of a busted truck spring to a long handled 3 lb hammer, so I could use 2 hands when I need it.

Rednecktrapper- that looks AWESOME! Please tell me that it is not just a piece of flat stock. I bent a piece of flat on my old hammer and have been using a "ground hog" all season. It works, but not the best, and I absolutely HATE the curved digging blade. If the blade on yours is unbendable, please PM me.

When life gets me down..... you know hunting/trapping season is closed.

I just seen this post, VH60 I hope you didn’t get the short blue one, I got it and after one season it bout killed my wrist and elbow from pounding not much leverage with, I made one like Toms long one and it is much nicer to use. You can grab up on for short easy swings or really swing for pounding in earth anchors.
