Just a question. Who prefers daytime hunting over night hunting? If you prefer one over the other, please state the most you've gotten in a day or night. I would like to know which is more profitable/fun. I'm very new to the predator hunting idea and would love some tips as well!

Then basically forget night calling. Ks is only moonlight for nighttime predator hunting. No lights thermal or nv but it is legal to shoot at something you can't see at all...makes no sense Sounds like mdc. Fools who have never been there, done that and know how things work. However they know best.
Get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US.

I'm not worried about my scope at all I have some confidence in that. As long as my light has a full battery I can see about 50-75 yards through my scope.

I'm afraid of the dark...so it's daytime calling for me!
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

I like calling at nite. But that was about the only time I could do it when I first started calling. Pretty deadly on cats......even fox. But you'll educate a lot of coyotes. They'll almost always circle or come in down wind. Sometimes hundreds of yards out. If I am after coyotes only, it's right at sun up or last hour of the day for me to be calling. A full bright moon with fresh snow ..... where you can have an open field down wind is a good way to have some fun. Good luck!!

Did lots of it, 20 years ago. Night for fox, i/we used a 3 cell mag light with the lens colored red with a sharpie. Shotgun with 4buck is best, but at that time it wasn't legal. Now it is. No need to hide, have called them right to the truck with the caller sitting on the hood. If walking in, have your light on, sometimes you'll spot them before you even start calling. Don't shine the light directly in their eyes, just over but still lighting them up seemed best. Reds will hang up, but not as much if using a mouth call. I've had luck walking towards them once they sit down. 50/50 if they let you get in shotgun range.
