Tubari has done an excellent job in the past for me.
Recently, I tried a local tannery, Sleepy Creek, Ben did an excellent job. The upside with Ben was not only his quality work but his communication. He was very accurate with his turn around time, be it 3-6 months.....what have you at the time. I had a few questions and he was always good about either answering the phone or returning calls, which I appreciate.
I'll be sending more fur his way.

I've heard great things about Great Northern Fur, so I sent them my fisher last season. Turned out excellent, with superb customer service. Speedy too. I'm going back to GNF

Well I called Moyels and got no answer, called back and still no answer. Called Great Northern Fur as wissmiss suggested and they answered right away, the lady was very knowledgeable and was willing to answer any questions. The turn around was 120 days when I called. I just sent three bobcats to them yesterday...I 'll let you all know how they turn out.

You may have a wrong number. They always answer when I call. Toll Free 866 826 3877 or 298 678 8411. Call during regular business hours.

Called them yesterday and got right through. My stuff is done. 8 1/2 months. Hopefully it's here in a week or so and time to start turning it into cash. Bummer to miss Christmas though. Usually able to sell a bunch of tanned fur then.

8 1/2 months

I tanned two coyotes a couple of years ago and it only took a few days. Are they sending them to China or something ?

Oldtrapper, how long do you think it would take you to do 1,000 coyotes? Big difference between doing a couple yourself and doing 1,000s.

Do you sell locally or online?

Moyles just called me. 8 1/2 months and fur is ready. What I learned from wissmiss and tested last year a mixed batch of fur is likely to take longer than one species, unless it is the wrong species. They hold the whole order for the last species to get done. If your shipping is not too expensive, it may speed up the process to ship single species orders. Good Luck!

Anyone ever have sleepy creek do a beaver? How was the quality?

Thought I was a good trapper until I started trapping coyotes......
Thought I was a good bowhunter until I targeted mature bucks....
