What would be good prices at auction for them, they say original chain one has drag. Just curious what would be a good price range just to have hang on wall. The #415 looks like pan is very readable. Thanks

Jarrett, I have my doubts about that chain and drag on the 4 1/2 being original. Still a nice wallhanger though and if you can make out the spring stamps, all the better... Bid up to $205 on it and I'll tell Comet to stop at $200......

Good one Dale. You can't read the spring stamps. I checked. Only one spring had a stamp on top. Didn't see one on the other. Maybe with a little vinegar soak and scrubbing you could read it.

I don't think a vinegar soak and scrub will increase the value.

The Newhouse appears to have the correct chain but it is reassembled into one long piece. Fairly easy to reassemble but it is missing the correct drag and snap. I would go higher than Dale if you want to keep it for yourself but not for resale. The 315X is cruddy looking but might clean decently. 100 as is. The 415x is the best of the lot and could go up to 400 or better. BUT we cannot see if the jaw locks are intact. which they must be to bring a decent price and again, it has to clean up.

Well comet now that the world has seen your post I would imagine there will be a lot of bidders on all the traps.
My guess every trap will go higher than prices quoted above. Happens all the time. I've seen real junk sell for four or five times what it's worth.
