Found this B&L #3 at an indoor flea market. What is it worth?

$8.00.

It is the newer model with the humped cross and clamp pan. Made by ATCo for B&L some time between 1969 and the late 1980s.

In my opinion, basically a user trap. No collector value. Mod it up and go catch cats and coyotes.

Sweet thanks wissmiss I appreciate it. I had a feeling it was overpriced. The people wanted $15 for a broken #1 vic ls and $22 for this b&l #3. I didn't buy it and am glad i didn't get ripped off.

Traps at flea markets and antique stores are most often way over priced. But you still need to keep checking them out because once in a great while you will find a gem.

My best score was probably in a local second hand store. They had 20 or so traps displayed on the wall. Just an ordinary mix of longs and jumps. I asked how much. He said "you can have choice for twenty bucks". So I bought the # 4 Arrow and left the rest on the wall. Finds like that is why I keep looking. smile

I agree to check back often because you never know when you'll score.
