I've got an otter skinned and frozen. I have no board that size to stretch it. I don't anticipate trapping a lot of otter so I don't that it's worth it to get a board to stretch it. Is a #4 wire adequate to stretch it? I want to make sure I'm set up before I thaw it and flesh it. I've looked around and can not find the NAFA dimensions for otter. If somebody cound post that, I'd appreciate it.

No, the base of an Otter stretcher is around 6" wide and they are around 6' long. If you use a #4 you will lose a lot of length.

Buy a good pine 1X8 and make one. It will pay in the long run.

I have nothing clever to put here.
