Hey fellas, The last few days I have seen a few flies in my fur shed(just regular old house flies). Can they cause my fur any problems? If so what do I do about it? What do yal do with your fur once it is dry? Put it on hangers? Put it in the freezer? It will probably be another 1 1/2 months till I send my fur off. How should I care for it till then. And I also understand some of yal rub stuff on the furs to make them more presentable(I.E. WD-40 on beaver) What are some of the stuff yal put on your fur and what furs do you put them on and more importantly are there fur that you do not treat with chemicals? Any info yal can give is greatly appreciated. Thank's, Brad

well as far as the flies , i just hang some of the sticky fly strips in the corners of the shed and smack the ones i see. my fur i put on hangers and put in the cold side of the shed , but up here thats about 10-20 degrees most of the time, maybe gets up to 40 on warm days. personally i don't put any chemicals on my fur just brush/comb it good.

Brad with this weather, it is kill me. I have left my fur on the boards due to the humidity going up and down so much. This is the worst year I have seen in a while. One day it is hot the next it is freezing cold. Can not make up its mind. I have had the same thing in my shed, but the only thing they were after was the yote pelts. Everything else was fine.

Spray them with mosquito repellant. I had the same thing with early coons last year and the flies left them alone.
