Ken TX 56 OP trapper K Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 56 Texas	I am still finding new traps in Dad's trap shed! I just found 3 STRONG #3 B & L under spring traps. They are super fast! Why did they quit making them? Just wondering. Sorry if I am in the wrong here, by posting this! Thanks KM

wissmiss trapper W Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 16,708 north Idaho	Jump traps, especially the 3s and 4s fell out of favor with many traps when coil spring traps came into big time production. There are still some beaver and otter traps that still like and use the larger jumps. Most new traps don't even know what a jump trap is. They haven't been in production for 20 years or so.
