mtncat OP trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 322 Sacramento Mountains NM	Anyone have any information on "best management practices" as it relates to trapping cougar? Not seeing any listed on multiple sites relating to trapping other animals. Any help is appreciated.

Would be interesting to see if they will do one especially with how bad the big cats are getting to be. Might be something your state association may want to do on their own, or with your state's wildlife biologists if they are helpful. Russ Carman, my team and several others were assigned trap testing data for coyotes. Wolf and Cougar standards would be something that would have to be researched for that specific data.
