There was a thread on here a few weeks ago where someone had installed a nose bump or jump wall inside the trap. It was about an inch high on the other side of the one way door so that the animal approaching from the collector side wouldn't have access to the bottom of the one way door without standing on it. Haven't implemented it myself but sounded genius and I think it would solve your problem.

I may be misunderstanding the problem but if not, look at the post by Bob Jameson a few posts down. Is this what you need?

I've had the occassional squirrel manage to get out. Good luck getting that one back in! That Nose Bump/Jump Wall is pure genius. I'll be trying that out this year. Thanks guys!

Jason I checked a few post from mr. Jameson. I don't think I accessed the one mentioned. I'm pretty clear on everything except the nose bump. Thanks for the help. No problem. I understand it a bit better myself now.
