Trap was made by Del Skeim for the 150 year of California statehood in 2000-2001. Trap was very will made,around 450 made. Was a No 6 size trap made just like a Newhouse ,Pan was stamped Kenwood N Y

Its a reproduction but a better one, made like the real thing. Ive seen those traps sell from 1400-6000$ some have original bags and boxes with it.

Man, that is a lot of money for a trap like that! I think there were too many made. Were they really made in the U.S.? I heard that people lost money by ordering and not getting their trap. Did everyone get their trap that ordered one?

450 is alot?
Newhouse traps where made by the million and they are not easy to find.

I thought we were talking about Bear traps. 450 is a lot of bear traps!

I believe Del passed away before the traps were assembled. The "parts" were sold at his auction in Tower, MN. It was a large auction with lots of collector traps.


I have nothing clever to put here.
