I think what Ive come across is a triumph three jaw. Its fairly rough. What can i do to clean it up? And is it worth it to keep it around?

Theres not much you can do to polish a turd.
If your looking to resell it for a profit find an antique auction to stick it in.

A bit of wd40 might make it look a bit better but I doubt you will pull up the pan lettering on that one.

Definately worth keeping or selling, rather than using.

Give the pan a shot of WD 40 and use an old toothbrush to move the liquid around.

Give the entire trap a bath in warm soapy water and then see how it looks.

Do NOT use vinegar or muratic acid or any harsh chemicals - you will decrease the value.
