Super trap! That's a trap that needs to stay in the family. Greg

That's a nice 23 Tom, back when that trap was new, they could be ordered with or without chains, so it is very possible that is the way it came right from the factory and whoever put the chain on it, they put on a good one and did a great job, the chain looks good on that trap. Yup, if it was my Grandpa's trap, I'd keep it too. Does it have the patent date on it, I can't tell by the pictures?

That's great! Anything that came from father who has passed on or grandpa are very special to be appreciated as an awesome gift more than a collector items,as those may come and go and can be replace rule of them.Glad you have that!
