Looked at a muskrat job this morn...they say the rats and/or snappers bit holes into the BLOB,,a $3k water toy you bounce others off of and into the lake

The guy has never seen more than 1 rat swimming around

4-5 acre lake.....mostly mowed to waterline

found 5 holes into the bank, only 1 is in the dam

there are no apparent "runs" to set a colony trap, the water deepens quickly nearly the entire perimeter...making setting a foothold ineffective.

Is 110's blocking each hole a good plan?

Yeah, blocking the holes with Conibears is usually effective. ( Even on rookie muskrats )

Yes 110's are probably the best option on rookie muskrats. (Good one Paul!) Plug some of the holes with grass to verify activity.

Get the snappers too. They might be the culprits.
