Dave, that's a question that you didn't want to ask. Every member of my immediate family has had lasik surgery. No more contacts.
The last eye exam that I took PJ to, I asked the doctor to check me out as well. This is what he said: "I used to test pilots for the Air Force."
Here's the good news; You have better vision than 90% of the pilots flying airplanes today!
Now the bad news; As you grow older and you begin to develop normal vision like the rest of us, and you will think that you've gone blind.
I'm in that "I think that I've gone blind" stage right now. Of course, when I'm driving, and I say, " Did you just see that hawk flying by with that red squirrel?" Everybody says, "What hawk?"

mtncat, I think it's wonderful that you can do it! I'm cut from a different piece of cloth. One of my customers summed it up perfectly today.
What he said was that he really enjoys watching TV before he goes to sleep for the night. And so do my wife and I.
Instead of thinking of business, family, customers, etc., we go to to sleep thinking about murder, mayhem, and all the rest of the great things that make up a hit TV program nowadays. ( Not to mention America's Funniest Home Videos )

The new TV shopping is finally over. We ended up with the Vizio 3-D and I'm kind of glad we did. My wife puts more sweat into our business than anyone and she should have a better TV than I do. ( In the meantime, I'll have to be satisfied with my scrawny 70 incher ) Beside that, if we had to pay a babysitter to keep the little grandkids as mesmerized as that TV will, it would cost four times as much.
P.S. I would like you guys to do a test for me. If you normally have trouble falling asleep, ( I've been there often ) do me a favor. Watch a TV show right before your normal sack time, ( preferably a show that you don't hate ) and then do this for a week and tell me if you slept better or worse. ( I know what you're thinking. Nothing X rated. This is a test )
I have never seen this in print and until one of my customers mentioned it, ( I have previously posted this ) I would have thought this was a bunch of malarkey, but in my own experience, I think this idea might have some validity. Let me know!
