You guys are doing great! Your motivating many people to give it up, which I also commend you for. I quit about a month ago and at 27 bucks for a tin of straight skoal its added up already. Good work boys.

Keep it up guys. I'm here to tell you it ain't easy in spite of the experience some have. October 12, 1986, I had my last chew after using tobacco for about 25 years. Yeah, I'm that old but I still remember the day because I went thru near 3 weeks of withdrawal symptoms. Shakes, blurry vision, agitation and general meanness, you name it, but it's over now. Not gonna lie, today wasn't easy, had to leave the farm and come home and vaccume the house and re read hoofbeats of a wolfer to get my mind off the snuff, but I held on and won

I think I've gone thru a thousand Jolly rancher candies but I haven't touched the dip yet and don't plan on it. I like the way my mouth has healed so far and how I don't wake up in the morning with a soar throat. I've only seen improvements so far other than severe anger

Lol! I had the anger yesterday. Today was 1000 times better, first time I got in my pickup after work and didn't want a pinch. Things are looking up fellas!

Every day gets better guys....seemed to melike after the 1st week I could care less about it cuz the nicotine was gone from my system....Proud of all you guys...it's a tuff son of gun to quit for sure...But you are doing it...awesome job!!

I'm feeling good ... I think as long as I keep some smokey mountain or what not around for skinning... Treestands... Fishing...!we will be just fine!

Wife kicked my.......again on the elliptical, I then proceeded to beat the heck out of the punching bag.....,today was a tough day, but I'm still in it!

Be sure to brush your teeth twice as much as you used to when you were dipping. When I quit, I ended up getting a cavity from all the candy and gum I tried to replace the snuff with.

I ain't never had a cavity, and don't plan on starting now. I'm not big on sweets, so I shouldn't have to worry I hope

Didn't wake me up last night but is ALL I thought about all day. Kept sucking oncandy and chewing jerky all day. Don't think tomorrow is going to be any better

Worst part of quitting so far... I work nights, by myself. I am an inspector at a company in Nashville, TN that makes airplane parts. I'm alone for 10 hours a night. It's not exactly a "busy" job. I have a lot of time to sit and think about how good some copenhagen would taste. All weekend I tried to keep busy. I fell a few trees, marked out the garden, tended to the chickens and the horse. I made some AMAZING venison stew (or maybe I could just taste it better). But now, I'm at work, alone, and kinda bored.

All weekend I was nauseas, dizzy, irritable (down right irate). My wife even volunteed to serve in the day care at church so she didn't have to sit with me through Sunday School. I'll admit, focusing on Jesus helped more than anything so far.

It's getting easier to get through the day. The first 24 hours I was pretty sure I was going to end up in jail. Now, I have a short fuse, but it's better. Today, a ladybug wouldn't leave me alone in my bedroom. I managed to only throw 3 shoes at it. Had it beed Friday or Saturday, I would've opted for the 12ga. See! I'm getting better!

I just want the headaches and dizziness to go away.

Ok, that's my rant right now.

One more thing, I figured out a couple things that WERE NOT helping me. Caffeine and alcohol are NOT a good thing when trying to quit nicotine. A couple doctors told me that and my own experiences proved them right. Only made the cravings worse.

That looks interesting! I may have to order some to give it a whirl. I have several friends that deal in Advocare. It really is a good product, I'm just not interested in budgeting for X amount of vitamins and health stuff. They have a product similar to zipfizz. But honestly, I'm but Zipfizz first because it's fun to say... Zipfizz. LOL!
