I have a question that I really do not want to ask, but has been presented to me. As many of you know I have a Podcast show called Rednecks Pride Outdoors. I hosted many and co hosted with Mike Flick on Robs shows and was a quest many times on Robs podcast, So when I started doing my shows I told Robb, it was only for outdoor activities dealing with hunting trapping and fishing, mainly here in the northeast but is fast growing to other parts of the country. I wanted no parts of ADC in my shows that was Robb's and would continue on with him on those talks. Besides I did not want to train my competition LOL you know I a kidding. When Robb stopped his normal shows that left a little hole to many. Here is where I do not want to go, but feel that I should address it here and get YOUR feedback. It has been made known to me that there is a void now, with the Passing of Robb, we and more importantly I owe Robb much, he did great things for this industry. Thought has been made since I have a show going, and do radio talk shows and other stuff like training in the trapping and ADC fields, that rednecks Pride should MAYBE continue the training in podcasts for the ADC/WCO fields. THAT IS if Eddie does not keep it going with Mike

So If I can get your honest thoughts on this. I must admit I am having too much fun doing shows on the play time stuff that does not matter much. calling, fishing, goose hunting fur trapping and so on to say to myself man ADC is the real deal stuff, man don't know. well let me know what you think. thank you Ron Jones

The fact that you were thoughtful enough to ask our opinions tells me that if demand dictates, you should do it. I've known you long enough to know that there aren't a whole lot of guys that can talk as intelligently about ADC work as you can. I'm sure there are many others that agree with me.

I think someone should carry on. I only met Robb once but have listened to many podcasts and I think Robb would have wanted the shows to go on in some form. Sounded like he was only changing format due to time constraints.

IMHO....

I got the impression Robb was done doing ADC podcasts and instead was going in the marketing direction.

I listened to a couple podcasts over the years and thought they had a place and were informative.

Keep them going. A lot of people will be hapoy if they kept going.

That's what he said a while ago.

Ron, talk to Mike and Eddie about it. I would think they would have first refusal.

I do think there's an audience for anyone interested in doing a show.

I would like to see you keep them going Jonesie. I didn't know Robb well but i know he had a passion for sharing information through the podcasts and was so willing to help others including the dumb ones, like me, LOL. That said, I think he would consider it an honor that you and/or others are willing to carry-on. Our field needs a venue like the podcasts to candidly give/receive information due to the lack of formal or standardized training (my opinion of course).

We had been thinking about continuing the podcasts. I spoke with a few people today, and now this thread makes it pretty evident that we should get things back to normal as soon as possible. I miss the podcasts, and the friends I've made doing them. It would be a shame to loose track of the community because of this tragic event. I'll set one up for Monday, and it would be great if everyone was there. Next week will be Robb's memorial. (TBA) Eddie doesn't know his schedule yet.

Vinke, Im going to keep it going because I miss doing them. As I said, the whole community seems to feel the same way. I couldn't help but pick up an abrasive tone about it from your post. If you want to P.M. me about an issue you may have, feel free to do so and Ill do my best to resolve it.

Robb said he was getting out of podcast if his son doesn't fill the void.

Go for it.

Mike I think if you want to continue with ADC podcasts I think that's great. Robb told me he was tired of doing the podcasts in the original form. He felt he was running out of fresh topics. I will definitely be listening if you do continue.

Glad to hear the podcasts are going to continue. I sure have gotten lots of good information from them.
