This stuff I got like 4 big jugs of it. Been using last year works when find empty nut shells in the attic you just reload them with this stuff Bam red squirrel . You can smell it clear accross the house . For a bait with such a sweet nut smell it doesn't pull coons that often but does pull flyers

works for black rats also....

Has anyone else noticed? Wisconsin seems to be having a world record class black walnut crop this year.

Same here Paul that super wet cool summer made for a world record crop of about everything , the deer bait sales are way down due to the deer have so much food . A lot fur trappers are scratching there heads to wondering why there not catching like they should when using bait to I've noticed . I put out 50 more kill boxes baited them up with corn molasses apples honey oat sugar topping and the coons haven't touched them been only a few days but still what coon passes on a bucket of them goodies . It's not season here yet so I'm not in pantic mode yet plus I got this other bait for K9 that I had to stop using because it was pulling to many coons in I'll just put that in the boxes . The coons have this amazing amount of fur this year even the little ones have this big bush going on already . The deer are already started breeding as well every thing is off this year seems .

I guess you gotta be part of the in crowd to get some..

I had a batch get hard after some time and I replaced all I knew about, it should have a creamy texture.

It's dry and hard thought that's the way it was LT

Break the bait up with a butter knife,warm it and add some glycerine blended in a little at a time to bring it back to a creamy or spreadable consistency.That should take care of the dehydration. Certain blended ingredients particularly water soluble materials are prone to dry over time from the initial formulation. Early formulation batches can be prone to this if batches arent monitored over time for such dry out effects.
