As Robb said, it was a separate NWCO trade association that was started by a group of people who did not think NWCOA was doing a good job. NPMA did not have a hand in starting it or supporting it. In fact, NPMA's lack of support was probably the NWMPA's undoing. That Association was more tightly related to Pest Management Professional Magazine, it's publisher, and their attempt to introduce a new trade magazine called "Wildlife Management Professional" which is now reduced to a single issue per year under PMP's header.
