Responsive Managment just put out this report on a study they completed on public attitudes toward and expectations regarding management of nuisnace wildlife issues in the northeast United States.

http://www.responsivemanagement.com/download/newsletters/RM_NE_Nuisance_Newsletter_2013.pdf

Obviously most relevant to the NE, but any of us can gather some useful insights from this and the public we deal with.

Thanks, I would love to see a comparison to the people of the Midwest. I would expect somewhat different results but you have to remember that only a certain type of person responds to questionnaires in the first place. ( Okay, I admit it. I'm a responder. My wife, on the other hand, wouldn't respond on her best day )

Interesting indeed. Does anybody know who solicited and paid for the survey ?
Would very much like to know who Response Management's clients was for this.

Never argue with a fool - they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

The study was funded by the wildlife damage management co-op as listed on page #3. The last page shows the info on "responsive management" and who they are and who they work for. The fact it was funded through the WDM co-op should remove the suspicion that this was funded by an AR group.

If you go to www.responsivemanagement.com you can see they are involved in a myriad of issues including hunter recruitment and OHV use, etc... There are many things that show this should be viewed as a valid study conducted by a professional survey group that knows natural resource issues.

(disclaimer, no I'm not a paid spokesperson, but a few clicks and you can see they are legit)

Numbers look right for CT. Most don't want me to euthanize, but just don't want to hear about it. Just get it out of here. I've found if they live in the inner city, they expect it to be free.
