Looks like an older home. Watch for plaster keys under the insulation. Potential asbestos containing material. Test in advance.

Although that last photo is not plaster....never know about other rooms.

Wow bet that house smell a bit musty

the funny thing is the owner calls me this afternoon as he just heard back from his insurance co. they want to see the quote for the cleanout and they told the owner they might not be sending an adjuster up to the house. guess they are chicken! lol

I've only had a few insurance companies step in or be called prior to my inspections, all of them decided to leave looking at the problem to me as they felt it wasn't safe for them.

Just had a church inspection where the church was literally shut down for what amounts to a few quart bags of guano in the choir loft only. They were told they must vacate the building and its got signs on the doors telling people it is closed till further notice.

These are cases where you know they take what you do seriously though, versus those who tromp through piles of guano and old insulation filled with mouse droppings and tell you, I don't see what the big deal is!

I think this Rat infested crawl space was the most nasty thing
