So I was on my way to work this morning driving towards Fort Bragg on Hobson Rd, and Tar Heel Wildlife passed me like I was sitting still. I was going 45 in a 35, on a double yellow line and he flew past me. The next car in front of me he did the same thing- with oncoming traffic approaching. The car in the opposite lane stopped completely to avoid an accident. Here's the kicker- the second car he passed was right in front of the parking area for the All-American Trail, which is where a lot of fellow soldiers (a lot from the the special ops community) gather for a morning workout.
Bottom line- bad decision. I don't know if the offender is a habitual non-thinker or was just having a bad day- but I'm sure I'm not speaking for just myself when I say that I was more than [Please excuse my language... I'm an idiot] at his dangerous behavior.
I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country. - Nathan Hale

There was a time where I worked in a chemical plant. One day, a woman dropped her daughter off...and she ran through the plant selling girl scout cookies. My next fork lift safety training program discussed keeping an eye out for the unexpected....such as girlscouts in a chemical plant. Geeze...
Anyway, we all drive through subs, where kids are playing. Careful!
