So I was on my way to work this morning driving towards Fort Bragg on Hobson Rd, and Tar Heel Wildlife passed me like I was sitting still. I was going 45 in a 35, on a double yellow line and he flew past me. The next car in front of me he did the same thing- with oncoming traffic approaching. The car in the opposite lane stopped completely to avoid an accident. Here's the kicker- the second car he passed was right in front of the parking area for the All-American Trail, which is where a lot of fellow soldiers (a lot from the the special ops community) gather for a morning workout.

Bottom line- bad decision. I don't know if the offender is a habitual non-thinker or was just having a bad day- but I'm sure I'm not speaking for just myself when I say that I was more than [Please excuse my language... I'm an idiot] at his dangerous behavior.

I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country.

Why report it here?

You could always call them and complain.

I actually know the owner of Tar Heel. Many of us do. I just don't understand why you had to call him out like this in a public forum.

This is not the place for this sorry!

The # 1 reason our vehicles aren't marked. A lot of our guys drive like they just robbed a bank. There is usually a very impatient customer waiting at the end of these little NASCAR races.

There was a time where I worked in a chemical plant. One day, a woman dropped her daughter off...and she ran through the plant selling girl scout cookies. My next fork lift safety training program discussed keeping an eye out for the unexpected....such as girlscouts in a chemical plant. Geeze...

Anyway, we all drive through subs, where kids are playing. Careful!

I didn't realize this was on this site also. Puppy Creek had posted this on the NC Trappers website also and I made a response to his thread there.

That was not me who was speeding that day near Ft. Bragg. I was in an attic in Corolla, N.C. looking for a baby raccoon.

I didn't know that another company existed in the state with a name close to mine which is Tarheel Wildlife Damage Control.

PLUS....Bragg is about 4 hrs from Leary......

So PC, did you file complaint with BBB? or their website,if they have 1?

Just wondering is all.

They need to know they were caught being a public menace/danger.
