What would be the easiest (or most fun) way to remove a ton of carp from a pond? Trot lines with circle hooks or bowfishing for them? The biggest problem that I have with trot lines would be catfish and turtles...suggestions please....How about pricing? per fish or per day?

What kind of carp? Grass carp is going to be netting or bow. Common carp can be netted, bow or rod and reel. Trotlining will have to much by catch.

The most fun way would be high explosives, but there use for fishing is generally frowned on.

The easiest way, besides draining the pond or poisoning it, would be a fyke net with long leads.

Takes me back to years ago electroshocking to survey a variety of backwater areas and ponds for a wealthy landowner in NY. Carp sure come up to the surface in a hurry!

Know many a bowhunter that enjoy carp fishing and smoke the meat as well.

My fondest memories of using an electro-shocker include tripping on a rock and catching myself with my hands about elbow deep in a pool another guy was shocking. Led to an amazing sensation of warm and cold water in waders.
