Earlier about 5 weeks ago I landed my 1st trapping gig. The caretaker of a farm had seen a Fisher after loosing a peacock,turkey and several other birds. I caught 2 coon a couple weeks ago then lost another bird while I had traps out. i figured it might be another coon and didn't want to leave on a sour note.So I set 4 dog proofs baited with marshmellows. I've been making extra trips over there because birds or squirrel have been eating the marshmellows I left near the traps. Today I had another coon and a mostly white skunk in the DPS. i feel the extra effort paid off .I wanted to end with a catch and I hope the fisher will be there when trapping season opens .Time will tell.
