Hello All,

I have a potential account in Mass. They are a medical facility.

The problem turkey poop. The turkeys poop on the sidewalk and people carry the poop into the building onto their shoes.

This is a no no for a medical manufacturing plant.

What can I do to get rid of the turkeys remember this is Mass. and not New Hampshire.

Yes, I wish I could go onto the manufacturing campus with my semi auto 3 1/2 mag. but, I can't.

Thanks

Chuck

check with the D.N.R. see if you can use non lethal means like a cracker gun or maybe even good trained dog.

You would start by getting a permit here . I would just trap them myself release them out in the country . There must be a reason there drawn to the area so I would study why there there and might be able to solve the problem that way never need to touch a bird . Wouldn't be that hard to detour turkey from walking on a side walk using fishing line like used on geese and deer

An animal only does what he is successful at. There is a reason the turkeys are on the sidewalk and I suspect someone is feeding or a bird feeder. Take away that and maybe a little hazing will probably turn them back into wild turkeys, Talk to a few employees or watch security cameras and I think you will find your answer to the problem. The non offenders know who is helping the turkeys make the poop.

Sleep'n with an animal..I can help.
Do not use both feet when testing the depth or temperature of the water

I have heard of turkey populations in urban areas of New England that were feral domestics. That is a game changer, talk to your DNR.

Hazing with a Laser Pointer might work.

The only thing I know of that works really well on turkeys is Thanksgiving.
