[Please excuse my language... I'm an idiot] All,

Now that I know that I can do everything on a smart phone. What brand/type of smart phone should I get for credit card/paypal payments, quick books, invoicing, contracts, and being able to e-mail contract to customer. I want the client to sign the contract on the e-phone. Then I will e-mail it to the client.

Thanks

Don't expect a smart phone to do everything for you as it can't replace a computer. Also, what happens if you drop and break it, it gets wet, lost, etc.? Would business come to a stand still? They are nice but they are just another convenient business tool and should be considered as such. As far as brand it would be a matter of personal choice. I currently use a HTC One X as the Samsungs I used to buy crapped out too quick and the HTC gets a signal where the Samsungs never could. Samsungs are not built as well but they are easier to use. The iPhone is a great phone as well.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for my business. It does every thing you have stated with the exception of QuickBooks. I have not tried QuickBooks as of yet. It may do it also.

I use an iPhone 5 and an iPad. Everything syncs with all other phones and tablets so you don't have to worry about losing your data if it gets lost or damaged. If I add a contact/invoice on one, it shows up on the other instantly. I believe there is a quickbooks app compatible with most handheld devices. It might utilize the online version of quickbooks which can be accessed from any browser.

Electronic devices are nice and handy but nothing will beat a hand signed piece of paper in my mind.

If I could invent a dumb phone that only made and answered calls, for people over 60, I would be a multi millionaire overnight.
