Is there anything that can be used to keep groundhogs from coming back once removed. It is almost like they have a network telling them where there is a vacancy. Have had areas where they are removed and they return the next year in the same exact spot and re-dig the hole. Have even put wire around the building in question and out 2 ft and still have them dig under the wire. Thought maybe someone new of something that would keep them out.

Go deeper with the wire? How deep did you go ? Have the owner get a patterdale or jagd terrier.

If we go a foot down and a foot out, we never get callbacks. Having said that, we are not in great woodchuck soil either. Are any of you having the same problem as oldrat?
