Just wanting to know if anyone has done one?..thought it might be another way to advertise the business.

What type of set up did you do?

Was it worth it?

Any info would be welcomed

The spaces are 10 x 10 with a 6' table...cost for 2-days is $350.00

I think it really depends on your area and competition. I've done one. Our booth cost was almost 3 times higher than the one you posted. 3 of my competitors were there also.

I used some full mounts of animals I've caught like a black coyote, mink, etc to draw people in.

We also had a banner across the table with company name and slogan, business cards, free pens, signs listing our services, cage trap display, and a flat-screen set up on a stand with the college and pro football games on.

I also had my 11 year old manning the booth so folks wouldn't be intimidated to stop. I stood back far enough to swoop in and answer questions.

As far as results, after the cost of give-aways and booth space we didn't break even, and man did my knees hurt from standing on concrete all weekend!

Other folks on here have had better results. Check the archives as there are several threads about this subject.

Yeah, we did. We would'nt do it in the same place again. We had a nice set-up but this was at a large shopping mall and we talked to some of our fellow vendors and they told us that we would have been better off at the Home Show Expo at State Fair Park.

Paul,they used to hold this one also at our local mall also for years...the last 2 or 3 years they have moved it to a convention center located here..its held in a building now where we have our County Fair.

Jeff, if you know someone who has been there ( and is going there again ) they can give you so much more insight than any of us can.

I do a few shows a year.... It depends on how you market your business at the shows.
