Why not make them? Because it does not help you get a customer. Ask yourself....what are my goals?

If you look back at some of the threads about what I did wrong when starting you will find out a lot. One was bought cheap traps. Go with a good trap, put your time into doing business not making trap. The faster you get making money the faster you can buy more traps and do more jobs. Only buy what you need to keep a couple jobs going. Put that money you make from that job back into the business. JMO.

I have made a few to fit special situations that commercially built traps wouldn't fit too well, mainly squirrel traps. They have become the standard now. Still aren't available commercially. Have also "invented" a few on site, again to solve a specific problem.

Yes, you probably can make traps. I'd never try and discourage anyone trying to do something creative. We all can buy many good traps because someone said 'I can do that'. Give it a shot.

One time I saw LT using a whole plastic spoon scoop of his Black Walnut bait, I said "LT, why are you using so much bait"? His answer pertains to bait and traps I believe, when He said We're gonna catch a $50 Dollar Squirrel
So... how many $50 dollar squirrels are you gonna Nail in that Quality Trap that might cost a little Extra, I'd say more often than not One squirrel pays for 2 traps... and then Its yours for Life.
