I was going to say that I didn't know there was such a thing, but we've been getting paid by services for years. I believe it's usually when there is a regular monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly charge. But then that would be the way we mail the invoice out, now wouldn't it?

I was looking around. Intuit has a product for quickbooks. Aparently, you email them Your invoices....they print, add a return envelope, stuff envelope, and mail. .79 cents each. It includes postage. I hate stuffing envelopes...

I try to get email addresses for all my customers and just email invoices. Very few don't have email and it saves on stamp, envelope, and time. I know quickbooks has the option to email the invoice for you but I don't use that option. I just save them as PDF's and attach to my own email.

.79 , that is a great price!! Sometimes I sit down and get caught up and am always amazed at how long I have waited and how high the pile got before I got a round to it, by the way Al K thanks for the Round tuit! on the S Plan.

That is what I thought about the cost. Many people provide email addresses for accounts they rarely check. I like sending invoices both by email and the old fashion way. I will not burdon sales staff with chasing money.

Proline, I will pass your message on to Al. They can only afford one computer and his wife told him that it can only be used for solitaire. He calls me every couple of weeks so I can tell him what is going on. At least he has his own phone. ( With an extremely long cord so he can take calls out in the woods )

I'm with Nate, though I understand what your saying DaveK about someone missing it. I've only had this happen 1 time in the last
two years. Folks who pay by cc on the spot get a pdf of their bill.

I have many seasonal and out of state clients that only use the homes for vacation property, etc... Most prefer the email invoice.

We send pdf's via email and most of my clients communicate with me via email because I send my inspection/proposal summary via
email pdf as well.

Nice to know there are other options if needed.

Justin
