Well - it is 50 degrees in Michigan today...and there is still snow on the ground. I just saw a mole crossing the road - yeah REALLY!

Was it running away from the wildlife control operator? smile

Yesterday we drove through a small wildlife management area that has a refuge style wildlife drive.
The place always has the largest most impressive pocket gopher mounds, looks more like badgers
going to town and yet they are perfect p. gopher mounds. Think they had a nuclear spill there some
mutant gophers now tearing up the joint!

No snow here of course, but ice on the ponds and about 45 degrees.

Maybe making a mating dispersal trek?

Yeah, Dave. We've got your 50 degrees and we used to have snow on the ground. And apparantly I have the wrong idea about New Mexico's weather!

Paul,

Depends on where in the state you might pick. We have everything ranging from snow capped mountains to white sands and
all kinds of things in between. I thought Oregon was diverse and while it is, NM has some pretty amazing climates within 4 hours
drive in any direction.

It does get cold though! Not U.P. of MI cold or upstate NY where I grew up along the lake, but plenty cold and without snow it
just doesn't seem right!

smile
