Just a quick note: while all the speakers were excellent, the most professional ( He must have done this a few times before ) was the guy from Bell Labs. ( I had no idea that Bell Labs had technicians in the field )

The next best guys were the two guys from Wildlife Services. They did shotguns and rifles and I was truly impressed. They really knew their stuff and I told them so. ( Sometimes you have to separate the individual from their employer )

One of the most talked about topics was Al Krier's seminar on succession. This question is pertinent to all of us. If you died tomorrow, what would happen to your company? ( Making a will is a large pain and I've been doing it half the morning, but not making one is worse! )

P.S. You may read some of this again in WCT; consider this a preview.

Dave, but that was when I had the mask on, right? That was one of the most enjoyable seminars that I've attended. Lots of new guys and plenty of us old timers too. Ron Jones and I didn't miss a beat and we figured out the we hadn't seen each other for 21 years.

It was good seeing you again Paul, some good times we had in the past. Driving home today I thought of the conibear and I really feel bad about handing it to the poor guy, wish I could remember his name LOL. well I should feel bad LOL Was great seeing Al again, he is top notch. saw and talked to many that I have not see in years, and made some new buddies that I am sure will cause high phone bills LOL.

I spoke to Eric today and told him that he did a great job of putting a very well balanced seminar together. It really was a very well presented and attended group of sessions. So good to see and visit with the folks from 19 years ago. I have signed up for Nov and trying to figure out how to add a side trip.

Just wanted to thank all the attendees and vendor's that attended the seminar. It was different for me this year running stuff from behind the scenes versus doing all the MCing and being up in front. I want to thank Eric McCool for helping me out with that, especially since I didn't ask him until check in time. I'd also like to thank Christian Agnew from Wildlife Solutions for his donation of the signed Charlie Daniels fiddle (won by Jeff Krznarich) to benefit the state partner association's as well as Crosman Corporation for donating the Benjamin 392 air rifle (won by John Maples) door prize.

I'd also like to thank Bell Labs (24/7 TrapMaster, case of glue boards, several T-Rex, T1 Mouse packs, Provoke attractant, multiple sizes of bait boxes), WCS (tube trap, squirrel trap, squirrel bait), Bird B Gone (bird product display case), Tomahawk (raccoon trap), Crosman Corporation (CenterPoint Scope, Benjamin Trail NP .22 Air Rifle), and ACP Rednecks Pride (lots and I do mean lots of lures and baits) for their donations to the State Association Raffle.

We raised $1,100 from the fiddle raffle that was won by Jeff Krznarich
We raised $530 from the Benjamin Trail NP Air Rifle raffle won by Phil Hettinger
We raised $450 from the raffle items bringing a the total donation to $2080 for the state associations.

The next seminar is already schedule for November 7 & 8, 2013 in Lexington, KY. More information concerning the event will be posted on our website.

Had a great time at the WCT seminar. Food was great, rooms were nice, and the company was excellent.

Dave K, meant to make it a point to meet you, sorry if I did and don't remember. Lots of stuff to absorb in a short amount of time. Getting a bit older doesn't seem to help my memory at all either!!!
