You have some old buildings out there by you Red. To anyone who doesn't believe it, that building in the pic is probobly a house, and someone probobly lives in it.

The house was built in 1747, National historic reg. They had bats, Imagine that...think a bat could fit thru that hole??

Red Ryder, when you're talking bats fitting into that hole, are your talking about a 32 inch Henry Aaron or or a 36 inch Willie Mays?

That's easy. Take the job. Do the exclusion. Get your check and tell the customer that you will be back the same time next year for the same price. ( Well, after all, he's grandfathered in )

I did a inspection and a estimate... Guy didn't like the estimate so he went away...found a real good deal from a guy in West Virginia that filled it full of foam for him....not my kind of customer.

That's what I was thinking Paul. Lol. I wanted to do it correctly , he wanted the cheap out.. I don't use foam anymore, so I couldn't help him.

Does not look like something I would want to tackle and have my name connected with.

Turned down a similar job in Galesburg last summer, Jim.

The whole house looked like that, I don't think it had been refoofed in 80 years, found a date on the roof metal that was scratched 1928...Kinda cool, but more work than I wanted to do.

Tom (hvtrapper),

Do you service the area around Galesburg? I get a ton of requests from that area through my website, but don't go quite that far. My upper service edge runs from Quincy-Macomb-Peoria-Bloomington-Champaign. I'd like to provide your contact info when I get bat calls from up that direction. Hard to find anyone who actually SOLVES bat problems up there. Plenty of guys who will take the "bat in the house" calls, but nobody follows up with proper inspection/exclusion work.

Sure do, Ron, and thanks.
Both numbers listed in my signature are good.
