I use a book back pack, bought it at good will for $4, the heavy dudty nylon ones, one pouch has my lures, another has my tools, another has my polyfil a couple traps, cable stakes, and the top loop holds my stake setter, I keep my groundhog in the tool pocket, if I need to walk 1/2 mile it all fits in there and easy to carry.

I survived the death clutch of Boss Hog, and am now here for my 3rd tour of duty on Tman

I got one of the Kobalt brand tool bags from Lowe's. It was somewhere around 20 bucks and like 21 inches long I think. Alot cheaper than some other trapping bags I've seen and way more durable.

I've got an old hunting vest I use sometimes. Has a big game pocket that will hold a dozen traps, and 2 big side pockets that hold bait, lure, snares, wire, etc.

Canoe, packbasket & a nail pouch. By the end of the day it's all scattered around in the canoe.

I do lots of walking so a backpack is my choice for carrying trapping equipment. Keeps my hands free and makes hiking easier.

My Bob Wendt style of a packbasket. Granted, I dont' carry it very far at all, maybe a maximum of 15-20 yards from the pick up, it's handy to have everything in it.

This is what I use when checking. I trap only private farmland. I can leave my barn and be back from checking my line in about an hour. My line is about 8 miles around. No gates, all open country.

I use this when I go and re-set. I don't have time to re-set every day. I can only manage to re-set on Saturdays.
