Moles are tearing my yard up!!!! Do the crystals that kill the grubs and worms work, meaning if I kill the food source in theory the moles should move on. Anyone have any experience with this, or should i just try to kill the moles?

It may help some but very little, the number one food supply are earth worms. If you kill the total food supply you will not have grass in a few years. I agree with WIGGLER it is much easier to work a few extra hours at your regular and hire a ADC person to take care of your problem.

I dont have a lawn right now. I raked up some leaves and it looks like they went through there with a rottotiller. Wiggler, that would be a bit of a drive, dont know if I want to pay that milage. I figured that is what it was going to come down to, hiring someone that is.

Trapping is the only answer for mole control. No other method that I am aware of will do the job. Moles will always have a food source with or without grub control.

Chemical control only works on a percentage of the immature grubs and that is determined by the kind you use and how diligent you are in the application and watering of your lawn to facilitate the action of the product. In other words if you want mole control you need to trap or hire an experienced trapper to help you.

What Bob said. He and I have both been doing this for long enough to know what works and what is a waste of time and $$.
