Can't say I have ever seen that before it could possabley be you just set a new world record Wiggler man there . That is the truck I seen that I thought was silver must be going color blind . Need to save them up and I'll come get them to stock up southern mi . Wonder why we don't have them around these parts . One guy said its to warm down here . Not sure if I buy that one . They are a strange animal and not sure if the tail grab thing would work for me . I know the winter time I see them in them big hollow trees up there . Could they need big hollow trees for denning come winter . Must be a reason just a 100 miles north there very thick in numbers . They get a bad rap because they do kill trees but that just renews the woods brings new life and new cover and food sorce . Just like beaver or a forest fire . Not good when they start eating your house . Nice catch I can't say I have ever cage trapped one .

That is one great achievement, I had a double on porkies last week but it was in two traps about 100 feet apart. So far in two weeks I've caught four, one probably weighed 25-30#, there was a 2000 acre fire not far from that job so the landowner and I both agreed it would be best to leave the traps out for any refugees looking for a new home. Does FEMA help porkies that are victims of natural disasters? laugh

Having watched a veterinarian pulling quills right through a bird dog's head, ( No, thank God, it wasn't one of my setters ) you can keep all of your beloved porkies and also stick them where the sun don't shine. ( Ohh, that would be painful )

porkies are really a pain to trap... its mostly fencing and hoping they walk the same route.. i guess i want instant gratification in getting my target the first night.. porkies sometimes takes me a week or 2 to catch it. bait helps... but sometimes isnt a sure thing

I'm happy with what I have, no dillers, no moles and no flying squirrels at least not in my part of the state. Although I wouldn't mind a few possums.

Dave, I'm sending you a dozen opossums, each with a flying squirrel hanging from its tail. Two species you don't want to be without. Opossums are perfect target animals. ( You can let them go every day for a week and every day they'll be right back in the same trap ) We call them liberals.

Flyers look more like Ewoks ( From the Star Wars movie )than actual squirrels and you can pick them up by hand if you're careful. Everybody loves flyers. ( Except the people who have them and are trying to sleep )
