This time of year we all feel the burn out. Work has us all over the map and we are under the gun to make appointments on time. At times like this it seems everyone wants it done and they want it NOW. As much as we want to do just that, we gotta realise that we cant over stress ourselves. Take a little time to change our oil, tires, and etc. But what about ourselves?
Aside from making sure we stay hydrated (Realy important) But stay away from living off of fast food. Get some green stuff in your diet, and stay away from coffee, soda, and alcohaul. I can tell when I haven't taken my vitamines. I use vitamine C, Glucosamine Sulphate, B-12, and saw palmeto berry.
If you find yourself feeling dragged out, give it a try! It takes about a week for you to get into the swing but it makes me feel 20 years younger! Good luck out there guys, and stay safe.

Good advice! I'm a small timer BUT the early morning shift I usually have to run can really put a damper on energy levels. My best reliever is a 30 minute cat nap.

I am 69 and love my job, but I cannot live without my four cups of coffee in the morning, my three or four cigars while traveling between sites and finally at the end of the day, a visit to the pub for a couple of cold ones. Don't take vitamins but I have lettuce and some veggies with my hamburger, usually at Carl's Jr. When I get home, wife usually wants to go out and have a couple of glasses of wine and a nice steak. I do draw a line for health here and only drink good red wine. Cheers.

I'm the same age as Jerry but I eat a whole lot healthier and my diet doesn't vary. Every day I eat a half a bag of Hershey dark chocolate kisses and wash them down with Dr. Pepper. You'll notice that I have the dark chocolate which is way better for you and the soda, well what the heck, it's made by a doctor for crying out loud! I only allow myself one glass of alcoholic refreshment but it's a doozey.

I am almost 37 and I swim 3 days a week and lift weight 2 or 3 days a week. If I don't I start to feel like crap. I sleep better, feel better, and get sick much less when I stay in my routine. I have been doing this for 15 years now and feel it has paid me back many times over. I feel you have to take care of your body if you want it to take care of you. I hope to still be in good shape when I'm 70 years old too. Good post.

I've been on the table 3 times in my life with an I.V due to dehydration. I know the signs pretty well by now. Nausea, dizziness, weakness and tired all the time.

I try to drink a gallon of water a day!I fill a poland springs jug with tap water and keep filling my ice coffee cup with water.I feel If I use that cup I can drink It easier.Dehydration is a bad feeling,it drains all your energy and is very counter productive!

sheephunter, you aren't by any chance, a relative of Al Krier, are you? I get tired just watching him exercise.

P.S. He's over the seventy mark by about five years.

Finally got some rain today!! It was kinda wierd seeing the ground wet again. Thats about all it amounted to, but it gave us a little hope.
