I only have a couple cage traps for coons, most of my work involves other methods, so catch and release is little concern. However it sounds like this year i may be able to expand a bit, and would like to know what are some good cages, and as always, value priced.
I dont need top shelf stuff, just cheap usable cage traps that will make it through a 2-3 month season of kittens and juveniles terrorising the city folk.

Duke HDs are my back-up traps.. cheap and can take a beating by a coon and still work. Comstock's are my preferred trap of choice.

Williams cage traps are reasonable and really last. I think he may be from Indiana also.

I like the safegaurd pro model for bait, Comstock or advanced for forced sets.

I have some williams that have seen over 20 years of proffesional use. and other than adding a few rings here and there they still work flawlessly.
