Any body tried Nutria yet?

I was catching so many of them on the beaver line that I had to try them.

They are great!

They are probably my favorite wild game to eat! The meat is tender and has a taint of sweet.

I cook them the same as I would beaver or any other red meat. Again, we eat the whole thing. The ribs are delicious bar-b-qued in the slow cooker. The flanks, fried up, make great sandwiches. hams and shoulders are excellent lightly floured and fried. Roast, steaks or stews, try it and I guarantee you'll like it!
