I find it hard to beleave he caught a eagle in a snare , sounds like make beleave No, it's actually done very easily...even red tailed hawks are subject. Just set a snare too close to a bait and you'll find out when a raptor flies down and hops up the trail !

Why would you put the snares right next to the bait station . I keep mine way back so I can check them without leave my scent at the bait . Sounds like they need some training .

Unfortunately, this article puts all wco's in a bad light.
What starts as "The Killing Agency" will quickly turn into "The Killing Business".
Pretty soon, no tools except cages. Not even cages in some cases either. That's a pretty negative article and gives all trappers a black eye. But sadly its written by some journalist using the worst source of accurate information out there like HSUS and PETA to spin it the wrong way. This article is not much better http://www.sacbee.com/2012/04/28/4448951/interactive-graphic-animals-killed.htmlThe public deserves the truth and none of this Bambi loves Chachi horse poo. Each and everyone of you I hope are using opportunities to properly educate the public.

Remember the source of this info PLEASE. Mr Strader is a disgruntled former employee, if you google his name you will see the issues he was involved in and the people he has ties too. Put 2 and 2 together and then judge on his credability.........................
The rest is just pure leftist talk and info that has been circulated for many years against WS and the killing fields type crap that has zero facts besides the numbers which are available through the freedom of information act. The Sacramento times or what ever not having a bias on an issue like this? Laughable for sure.

Reminds me of the anti poison rhetoric from the late 60s. Big write ups in Out Door Life and other outdoor magazines regarding the use of 1080 compound. That was just one of the issues that resulted in the banning of 1080/cyanide/getter guns from use.
